In difficult winter conditions during Thursday’s program in Planica, the organizers did an excellent job in front of 10,780 spectators, and Anže Lanišek rewarded them by winning the qualification round. He flew 211 meters, while the longest jump of the day was achieved by Domen Prevc with 234.5 meters, earning him second place.

Anže Lanišek won the final qualification round of the 2025/26 Olympic winter season, after flying 211 meters in Planica and collecting 242.5 points. In Thursday’s program in front of 10,780 spectators, Domen Prevc finished second in the qualifications with 234.5 meters and 240.3 points, while Austria’s Stephan Embacher placed third with 230 meters and 239.7 points. Timi Zajc finished 20th with 208.5 meters and 205.8 points. Rok Oblak and Žak Mogel also qualified for tomorrow’s competition, placing 28th and 29th with jumps of 207 and 206.5 meters. Rok Masle, Žiga Jančar, and Žiga Jelar did not qualify for the competition.
